Annual Harvest Festival

There will be livestock encounters: enjoy a wagon ride through the pastures with a team of majestic Percherons (1-3 p.m.); watch our sheep being shorn then help to “skirt” the fleece, preparing it for spinning. Learn how to become a beekeeper and watch industrious honeybees in our observation hive. Meet our dairy cows, enjoy their freshly pasteurized milk and churn fresh butter. Try your hand at Harvest Crafts: create a grapevine wreath with dried flowers from our gardens; decorate a pumpkin; roll a beeswax candle; make gourd creatures, & MORE old fashioned fun!

Special Guest: Master Falconer Brian Bradley, will join us from 2:30-3:30 with his live birds of prey. Marvel as his falcons soar and dive over the pastures.
