Have you noticed the teal ribbons?

The month of April is nationally designated as Sexual Assault Awareness Month. During April, teal ribbons are placed around many communities to help raise public awareness of sexual assault and the services available for victims, as teal is the color for sexual assault awareness.

The Women’s Center provides free, confidential services to victims of sexual assault. We serve women, men, and children in the towns of Bethel, Bridgewater, Brookfield, Danbury, Kent, New Fairfield, New Milford, Newtown, Redding, Ridgefield, Roxbury, Sherman, and Washington.

Services include counseling, 24-hour hotlines, crisis intervention, court & medical advocacy, education, and a residential facility.

The Women’s Center is here to help.
We are here to talk about it.
