First Day Hikes are part of a nationwide initiative led by America’s State Parks to encourage people to get outdoors. On New Year’s Day, hundreds of free, guided hikes will be organized in all 50 states. Kids and adults all across America will be participating in First Day Hikes, getting their hearts pumping and enjoying the beauty of a state park. CFPA is excited to sponsor these three First Day Hikes on January 1st.
CFPA Ramble: New Year’s Day Hike, Westwood Trails, Guilford from 11 am to 1:30 pm
First Day Hike at the Goodwin Forest Conservation Center, Hampton from 12 pm to 2 pm
First Day Hike at Kettletown State Park, Southbury from 1 pm to 3 pm
