Register BelowFirst-Time Author’s Story Shares the Power of a Simple Act of KindnessAlex Fischetti, first-time author will share his story of how one person’s love and encouragement helped him overcome the social isolation of Asperger’s Syndrome, a form of Autism.  In the book The Lonesome Boy and the Blonde Haired Angel Alex tells the story of an autistic young man whose life changes for the better when a heaven sent angel appears.  Her compassion and friendship brings the young man out of his isolated cocoon to become the social butterfly so many know today.  Alex hopes that in sharing his story others will be open to receiving and generating kindness.At the Author Talk Alex will be happy to answer questions and sign books.  Books will be available for purchase.This program is co-sponsored by the Joel Barlow High School Chapter of Best Buddies International. Recommended for ages 10 and up.
