(Redding, February 5th) The Redding Republican Town Committee officiallyendorsed State Representative Adam Dunsby as its candidate for re-election to the State House of Representatives in this November’s election. The endorsement was announced following a vote in the Town Committee’s monthly meeting on February 5th.
Dunsby, who was first elected in 2016, represents the 135th House district, which includes Easton, Weston and the majority of Redding. He serves on the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee, the Education Committee and the Environment Committee. During his first term he achieved a perfect voting record, casting a vote ion every one of 417 roll call votes in the House.
In addition to serving in the State House of Representatives, he is First Selectman of the Town of Easton, where he’s maintained the town’s AAA rating. He had previously served on the town’s Board of Education and its Conservation Commission, chairing both. Prior to becoming First Selectman, Adam founded and ran two successful investment companies. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and also holds a PhD in finance from Wharton. He and his wife Cathy have four children ranging from 10 to 19.
