Entries were received for six categories – Dance Composition, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts – and local judges evaluated the artwork based on
three things: interpretation of the theme, artistic creativity, and artistic skill. The top school entries were then forwarded to the Connecticut PTA for further consideration, and five JRMS students placed at the State Level. Congratulations to: Moriah Morgan – 1st Place, Music Composition; Lily Anderson – 3rd Place, Dance Choreography; Alex Ciardullo – 3rd Place, Music Composition: Carolyn Jandura – 4th Place, Literature; and Gunnar Santis – 4th Place, Film Production.
