Mr McQuade was truly one of Redding’s leading citizens and a huge treasure.

Henry “Bud” McQuade passed away on August 7. He was 103

He was found unresponsive about 9 am that morning. The ambulance was called and he was taken to Danbury Hospital where his nephew met the ambulance.  He passed about 10:30. at Danbury Hospital. More information to come.

Me McQuade was a well loved science teacher and head of the department at Joel Barlow High School.

He also planted a daffodil garden as a memorial to his late wife. The garden is a joy for all to behold.
