P&Z Special Meeting

On Thursday, the Planning and Zoning Commission went over 8 pages of suggested changes and corrections to the town plan.

Chairman Rob Maquat made it clear that this was a process and that their would be an additional public meeting for people to express their concerns before the document became official.

Consultant Glen Childers pointed out that the Village Business district has been ion the town plan since 2006 and it was an important component to have in the town’s toolbox so that Planning and Zoning could ensure any new business fits into the character of the town.

Further meetings will be announced on the town website: eastonct.gov. Meetings can be viewed on Channel 79.
