On 3-19-19 at approx. 9:30 AM, an arrest warrant was served at Danbury Court, Marshal’s holding facility
This was the result stemming from a motor cycle crash that occurred on Route 7 near the Country Diner on 11-6-15 at 10:30 PM.
After the investigation an arrest warrant was granted by the court on 2-10-16.
The court had notified this department that the accused was appearing, as he has been incarcerated for other charges not related to Redding.
Arrested : Tripp Tyler DOB: 7-30-86 (32) North Salem Road Ridgefield, Ct.
Charges : Evading Responsibility / Improper Lane Change / Operating a Motor Cycle W/O am Endorsement.
Remained detained at the court pending transfer back to correction’s.
MV Stop 3-23-19 on Route 58 near Silversmith Lane.
Operator : Terrence Kham DOB: 8-14-97 (21) Park Place Danbury, Ct.
Misdemeanor Summons issued for speed 82 MPH in a posted 40 MPH zone.
court date: 4-4-19 in Danbury.
MV Crash / Old Redding Road on 3-20-19.
Operator : Luis Montesdeoca DOB: 3-18-58 (61 ) South Street Danbury,Ct. was driving southbound on Route 53 making a left turn onto Umpawaug Road, lost control and struck a guardrail and then drove away.
A short time later he was stopped on Old Redding Road. There were no injuries.
Montesdeoca was issued a Misdemeanor Summons for Evading Responsibility.

Fraud / Identity Theft on 3-19-19.
A Picketts Ridge Road resident reported that someone had changed his bank account password and email address. Also there were then two transactions on it for $ 9,980.00 ( Total $ 19,960.00)
The bank had reimbursed the money to a new account for the victim.
